HULU.COM: Why are you here an not there? (kidding, keep reading!)
Newsflash: Hulu.com is a very good website. This was brought to my attention by the people at Hulu. I was skeptical at first: it was said that: “Hulu is an online video service that offers hit TV shows, movies and clips for free to anyone, anytime in the US”
Honestly…I expected second rate video, infomercials, and advertisements. But the fact is that it’s a website filled with movies, video blogs, TV shows…just about everything. I just watched a few episodes of Corkscrewed, reviewed an episode of WineLibrary TV, and skimmed through “Sideways”. Registration is free, watching videos is free, the advertisements are not intrusive or overwhelming…I can’t say much more than that. That’s not to say there are not advertisements, but they are short (30 seconds or less) and only appear after 15 minutes or more of continuous play (much less frequent and shorter duration that traditional TV).
With all this praise, I will say that I am not affiliated with Hulu in any way, just found it to be a great site. From House, to Family Guy, to blockbuster hits, I could spend HOURS (if I wasn’t rebuilding the kitchen!) just going through all their stuff.
So head on over, search through their thousands of videos and take advantage of some of the best free video content the web has to offer.
